Harbor Child Care Offers A Unique Child Care Program

Harbor Child Care offers a unique child care program for children ages 12 weeks to 12 years old. Since its inception in 1973 as a not-for-profit child care service we believe over 20,000 children have experienced the warm, kind, and intelligent care and education in our early childhood and school age programs. We provide an educational environment, along with nutritious meals, medical oversight, an outdoor playspace and a curriculum that ensures children receive an educational benefit that readies them for kindergarten and beyond.
Harbor Child Care is located at 999 Herricks Road at the Herricks Community Center in New Hyde Park. Due to Covid-19, the Center is currently enrolling children under age 5 only. Our school-aged after-school program is temporarily suspended until January 2021. We are taking steps to ensure that facilities are cleaned and sanitized to provide a safe and caring environment during these unprecedented times.
