Village of New Hyde Park Tree Lighting

On Saturday, December 5th. the Village of New Hyde Park held its annual Christmas tree lighting in the late afternoon. Attendees were treated to live holiday and pop tunes, while the Chamber distributed candy canes to the children in attendance.
Chamber members present were Mark Laytin, Cheryl Fajardo, Jeanette Frisina with her husband Chaz, and their wonderful dog, Luna who sported a green dayglo leash.
At 5 pm, a fire truck pulled up to Village Hall, and out popped Santa Claus, who, together with Mayor Larry Montreuil and village trustees lit the tree.
Everyone went home happy!
